Hello! I have been an English teacher at Virginia Beach Middle School for 28 years. I learned from the best professors at Longwood College, now Longwood University, but my greastest education has come from all the children I have taught over the years. It has been my pleasure to stay at the same school and teach whole families of children, and now their children as well.
My daughters both atteneded Virgnia Beach Middle School, and 5 years ago, my husband joined the VBMS family and now teaches 8th grade science.
I am a published playwright and love writing and reading in my spare time. Science fiction and fantasy are my favorite genres in young adult literature. My favorite series is Harry Potter, but I also love the Clockwork Angels and the Divergent series.
I have two cats, Penny and Candy, and several hermit crabs, and I am the "grandma" to a bearded dragon and a tortoise.
